It is necessary to better understand children and young people to detect or rule out early signs of the problems they may be facing (dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADD, ADHD, Asperger&#8217;s, defiant negativist, bullying, eating disorders, disobedience, addiction to new technologies, study habits, etc.). <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"textoNoticia\" class=\"texto\">\n<p>That maxim of &#8220;<strong>Not good for studying<\/strong>&#8221; should always be taken with caution, V\u00edctor explains in his article:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>FIRST, because whoever says it reinforces a certain negative view of himself in the child.<\/li>\n<li>SECOND, because it may be reflecting an inability of the person saying it to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.educaryaprender.es\"><strong>detect possible difficulties in the child<\/strong><\/a> (not only of capacity, but also in regard to issues such as bullying, bad study habits, etc.). In that sense,<br \/>\nit may hide learning and\/or development difficulties not detected in time. In other words, it is not that he is not good, but that the burden he carries on his back is heavier than that of others, putting obstacles in his path and negatively marking his passage through school and through life.  <\/li>\n<li>THIRD, it does not take into account that probably it is not that the child is not good for studying, but that he is not made for the type of methodology that dominates in the classrooms and that involves memorizing content to pass an exam instead of learning.
