{"id":16244,"date":"2020-05-27T17:28:50","date_gmt":"2020-05-27T16:28:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dide.org\/online-training-session-on-the-dide-tool-for-copoe-members\/"},"modified":"2020-05-27T17:28:50","modified_gmt":"2020-05-27T16:28:50","slug":"online-training-session-on-the-dide-tool-for-copoe-members","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dide.org\/en\/online-training-session-on-the-dide-tool-for-copoe-members\/","title":{"rendered":"Online training session on the d\u00edde tool for COPOE members"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Addressing diversity and the role of remote educational guidance<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">As many of you know, d\u00edde is an <strong>online platform for educational needs information<\/strong> that helps minors and supports all agents involved in the child&#8217;s development process, whether their own <strong>parents<\/strong>, <strong>educators<\/strong>, or <strong>guidance, psychopedagogy, and neurodevelopment professionals<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>The tool automatically collects and obtains information<\/strong> through a series of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dide.org\/indicadores_dide\/\">indicators<\/a><\/strong> collected in mini <strong>questionnaires.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">These questionnaires, pre-designed and customizable, are <strong>completed 100% online<\/strong> by the different observers of the minor&#8217;s environment (parents and educators) using the <strong>observational method<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The <strong>objective is to identify<\/strong>, among all, the <strong>child&#8217;s individual profile<\/strong> from all possible perspectives, achieving:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Identify<\/strong> possible difficulties and potential of the minor<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Understand<\/strong> their current situation<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Establish<\/strong>, if necessary, the appropriate professional verifications and subsequent interventions. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The guidance professional obtains <strong>multiple benefits<\/strong>, including:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Obtain a lot of unknown information about the minor in a short time<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The study and analysis can be carried out individually or in groups<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Training for COPOE members on the d\u00edde application for the management and attention to diversity<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">On June 1st, we held an online session for <strong>educational counselors<\/strong> associated with <strong>COPOE<\/strong> to learn more about this methodology that undoubtedly favors their remote work.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In the session, we talked about:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The special vulnerability of <strong>students with special educational needs<\/strong> at this time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The adaptation of <strong>counselors<\/strong> to remote work to maintain attention to students and their families<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Demonstration of the <strong>d\u00edde educational platform<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">And questions were answered, such as the following formulated by educational counselors:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Can d\u00edde be used to know the state of the difficulties that students may have before starting the new course and thus be able to have that &#8220;end-of-course photo&#8221; and be prepared for the next one?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Can d\u00edde be used for those children whose evaluation was halfway through or even without starting, or for those who were waiting?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Is d\u00edde useful for the PMAR report?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Does d\u00edde allow a pretest-posttest use to follow up on cases?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Can d\u00edde help us in cases where the family refuses to recognize that the child needs a diagnosis and help?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Education must change and connectivity is fundamental, but being able to use a tool like DIDE can be the tip of the iceberg for that change.
