Attention and impulsivity (ADD and ADHD)

ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder): Characterized by difficulties in maintaining attention and concentration, easy distractions, and organizational problems. Does not include hyperactivity or impulsivity. Treatment may include behavioral therapies and, in some cases, medication.

ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder): Includes the symptoms of ADD, but is also characterized by hyperactivity (constant restlessness, difficulty staying still) and impulsivity (interrupting, acting without thinking). Treatment is similar to ADD, but often with more emphasis on behavior management and may vary in medication.

Both require a clinical diagnosis and have personalized treatments depending on the severity and individual needs.
